Porcelain dinner plate featuring the Imperial coat of arms of Iran under the self-proclaimed Pahlavi Dynasty (1925- 1979) made by Hutschenreuther, Germany. Although of sufficient quality for use as palace China by the Imperial Household, this plate could have been employed in myriad circumstances requiring such a service, including diplomatic missions, official dinners, official trips, or for presentation as a gift.

Hutschenreuther, founded in 1814, is a manufacturer of porcelain in Bavaria, Germany. The Pahlavis commissioned diverse porcelain products from them over the years.
